What is the width of a bike lane?

The width depends upon whether there is parking or curbs. Extra width is needed on long or steep upgrades to allow for extra wander by the bicyclists.

Road with no curb - 4 feet minimum
Road with curb - 5 feet minimum
Extra width to account for parking - 7 feet
