What is a mini roundabout and how are they beneficial?

Mini roundabouts are smaller than standard roundabouts but function similarly. Mini roundabouts have an Inscribed Circle Diameter (ICD) of 90 feet or less and are better suited to providing traffic calming benefits in areas with lower traffic volumes and little to no commercial traffic. Mini roundabouts are good options for increasing safety at intersections and are an ideal treatment for uncontrolled intersections.
