Where can I find a simple chart to help me calibrate my salt spreader?

The NYS LTAP Center - Cornell Local Roads Program has a spreadsheet tool available to help properly calibrate your salt spreader.

You can download this spreadsheet below. There is a blank version as well as a sample with the typical values available.

“Calibration Procedure for Solid Chemicals” can also be found in Appendix 13 of the 2014 Snow & Ice Workshop Manual.
