Using an agency conference room for NYSLTAP Online Training.

Many municipalities would like to have multiple employees attend NYSLTAP online training in their own conference room. This benefits the agency as all the employees can learn and interact with each other. 

If this is the case, we have a policy that must be in place for your employees to receive credit. 

  • Register online everyone who plans on attending
  • Contact NYSLTAP via email once everyone is registered with a complete list of names & titles for each webinar
  • NYSLTAP will create a sign-in sheet (example) for employees to sign in when they attend
  • Attendees must be on the session for the full time
  • Late arrivals or early departures must be noted on the attendance list
  • A person taking the attendance needs to verify the sign in sheet and should not be someone who is attending the online session (NYSLTAP recommends this person should be a supervisor, administrator, or primary official.)
  • After the training, the sign-in sheet needs to be completed (signed) and emailed to NYSLTAP at clrp [at] cornell.edu (clrp[at]cornell[dot]edu) 

 

To qualify for an attendance certificate (PDH certification needs to be done individually)
  • They must attend at least 75% of the webinar. (This would only be 6 minutes for a one hour webinar)
  • Registration online is required
  • Signatures on sign in sheet are required
  • Signatures of Admin, etc., are required at the end of the webinar
